About Us
The purpose of the San Diego Center for the Arts is to encourage and support the arts as a tool for promoting health, wellness, and the uplifting of the soul. We particularly want to create a non authoritarian space and forum for folks who are involved in creative art forms and artists who typically do not have access to main stream venues to expose, share and explore their work. We plan to also create classes and workshops as well as showings, readings, performances, salons, etc.
The San Diego Center for the Arts welcomes the sharing of writing, poetry, painting, drawing, sculpture, pottery, music, movement, dance, computer arts, etc. from a variety of cultural perspectives and skill levels representing the diversity of the human experience.
The San Diego Center will be sponsering a Jazz Workshop starting July 24 to August 28, 2010 from 10am - 1pm. For more information please visit our Events Page.
